Who are we?
The Biological and Biomedical Engineering Student Society (BBMESS) is a volunteer-based student run society that represents the graduate students of the Biological and Biomedical Engineering program in both the Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering departments. Our main goals are to foster a sense of community through social events and to provide soft-skills development and networking opportunities through academic events.

Hi everyone, I'm Lina, your President for this academic year! I'm from Lebanon and Tunisia and am a second-year Ph.D. student working on developing nanoparticles to treat melanoma in Prof. Maryam Tabrizian's lab.
I like being outside in nature, taking photos, listening to music, going to concerts, playing video games, and baking. Looking forward to meeting you all at our events this year!
