Who are we?
The Biological and Biomedical Engineering Student Society (BBMESS) is a volunteer-based student run society that represents the graduate students of the Biological and Biomedical Engineering program in both the Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering departments. Our main goals are to foster a sense of community through social events and to provide soft-skills development and networking opportunities through academic events.

Hello! My name is Ashley Park and I’m super excited to be your president for this year!! I’m currently in my first year of the non-thesis BBME program, specializing in Biomanufacturing, and I completed my undergrad here at McGill in Honours Pharmacology & Therapeutics!
My goal this year is to make BBMESS a fun community, with lots of exciting events, both academic and social! I can’t wait to meet you all at the events. Outside of school, I love eating dumplings, baking, exploring new food spots, and taking naps whenever I get the chance. I also LOVE to yap, so please don’t hesitate to come say hi if you see me around campus!! :))
